I am a 29 yr old female who is currently on 2nd line breast cancer medication for breast cancer. I started on tamoxifen and do not want to breast cancer. I have been using Nolvadex for years and this medication has been amazing. I started to experience withdrawal symptoms at a certain point. I went through a lot of withdrawals. I am so thankful for my Nolvadex treatment. I am so grateful for anyone who has tried them to help me and they are very happy and supportive.
The medication I have been on for my cancer is an anti-estrogen, anti-estrogen, and anti-androgen. I started off with 2 weeks of Nolvadex, followed by 2 weeks of tamoxifen. Then I went on 2 weeks of Nolvadex. Now my cycles are off. I can't wait to have a normal menstrual cycle. I am also on 2nd line tamoxifen and do not want to breast cancer. I have tried to stop breast cancer at some point but it has not worked. I am also on a "safe" estrogen level. I have started to worry about the side effects of Nolvadex as I have been on 2nd line for a long time and am a little worried about the side effects. I am so thankful to all of the people I have tried to help me with and I am so happy for them.
Thanks in advance. I will talk to my family and my doc and ask them to switch me to Nolvadex again. I am so thankful to my doc and my family. I will make sure that all of you who have tried to help me with this medication are not alone and are so very thankful for anyone who has tried them. I am so sorry I am so late in the journey. I can't wait for you to be able to get back on with your treatment. Please let me know if you have any more questions. I really hope that I do not have to be so worried about side effects of this medication and will let you know if I have any of you or any of the questions you might have.
I have been off tamoxifen for a few weeks and I am still having withdrawal symptoms. I have been on 2nd line and have been dealing with these symptoms for a couple of years now. I am on 2nd line, I have been on Nolvadex for five years and I am not sure that I have had any of the side effects. My periods have been irregular, but I have not had to worry about anything. I am a bit nervous about coming off the Nolvadex. My doctor told me to not stop taking the medication, and I have been on tamoxifen for a few weeks. I have been on tamoxifen for 2 years and am now on 2nd line and have no withdrawal symptoms. I am so thankful for the support I have received.I am so sorry that I am late in taking the meds.
